Appointments for Sick or
Injured Patient
If you have a sick or injured pet call our hospital
as soon as possible. Our receptionist will assist
you in making an appointment. Please call
281-342-3727.
Emergency visits start with an exam. Patients are
first evaluated with a complete physical
examination. Doctors look at your pet’s eyes, ears,
skin, cardiovascular, neurological,
gastrointestinal, and skeletal systems. Temperature,
Pulse and respiration will be assessed. Based on
this information, the doctor may order bloodwork to
test kidney and liver function, pancreas, thyroid
and adrenal glands. Depending on the condition of
your pet, the doctor may recommend further
diagnostic testing such as a urinalysis or
radiographs.
